Controversy of Giggs on The Sunday Herald Newspaper

The Sunday Herald, the Scottish newspaper in the middle of a controversy in the UK, has named a footballer accused of being linked to a privacy injunction by users of Twitter.That’s Scotland’s Sunday Herald , teasing a story about privacy laws run amok -which includes revealing Giggs by name – with a photo of Giggs that doesn’t leave much to the imagination. The Scottish newspaper revealed a picture of Ryan Giggs on its front cover today with a subhead that read “Everyone knows that this is the footballer accused of using the courts to keep allegations of a sexual affair secret. But we weren’t supposed to tell you that”. The footballer at the heart of the controversy is alleged to have been involved in an affair with Imogen Thomas, the British TV star of the show Big Brother.

Dominique Strauss-Kahn, the managing director of the International Monetary Fund, was arrested and is being questioned by police after allegations of sexual assault emerged on Saturday.The New York Post initially reported that Strauss-Kahn was removed from an Air France flight just minutes before takeoff from Kennedy Airport. According to The New York Post, a housekeeper entered Strauss-Kahn’s New York City hotel room at noon on Saturday. Sources claim that Strauss-Kahn emerged naked from the bathroom and grabbed the housekeeper, forcing her to perform oral sex on him. But now Former Managing Director of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) Dominique Strauss-Kahn was released from jail after he gave bail.
